Who We Are

First United Methodist Church of Pulaski was built in 1895. Our historic congregation has strong ties to our community and the surrounding area of Giles County. We strive to provide a grace-filled, encouraging place for people of all ages and backgrounds and to create a culture modeled after Christ's selfless and transforming love. We would love for you to join us - as you are - for any of our services or ministry opportunities!

Our Senior Pastor

Rev. Zach Moffatt has a passion for loving God and God's people.  He grew up in Kingston Springs, TN, is a graduate of Martin Methodist College where he received a BA in Theology and of Candler School of Theology at Emory University where he received his Masters of Divinity.   Zach and his wife, Kara are the proud parents of twins, Emma and William.  He enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, reading, hiking, coffee, and baseball.

Our Values

Mission: We exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ, and we do that by ENGAGING, CONNECTING, EQUIPPING, and SENDING people for Jesus Christ and making our community a better place to live.

Faith: We are called to have bold FAITH, knowing God is leading us to take big steps to share Christ's light in our community.

Community: We are called to create great, intentional COMMUNITY where all grow in relationship with God and neighbor.

Love: We are called to LOVE as Christ LOVES: boldly, energetically, fervently.

Our Beliefs

First United Methodist Church of Pulaski is part of a large, united network of Methodist churches called the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Conference.

The United Methodist Church is founded on a Wesleyan theology of grace, anchored in Scripture, and based in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and the continuing movement of the Holy Spirit.

We embrace a Church built in loving relationships rather than uniformity in thought and action.
